Artists Proposals

For Our Artists:

As a community-based museum, we strive to host at least one art-focused group exhibit per year inside the Flatiron Building Museum gallery space.
Exhibit Proposals and Artist Submissions to our space make showcasing art accessible for both emerging and established local artists, so please consider submitting a proposal today!
We encourage all artists to submit proposals to LDHS to show their work. We welcome proposals from artists of varying experience and skill levels working in any type of media. Maintaining the mix of established and new local artists is important to LDHS, so if you feel your work may be of interest to us, please submit a proposal.
All submissions will be reviewed by our Exhibit Committee and an offer to exhibit will be put forward in consultation with them. Shows are booked according to the Gallery’s exhibit schedule.
In an effort to not limit artistic creativity, there is no formal Application Form for Artist Proposals – instead please download the Artist Submission and Checklist today to understand the process and what the Exhibit Committee is looking for to get started on your proposal!

Heritage Exhibit Proposals

For our Community Members:

Please use the following form to provide suggestions to the Lacombe Museum team, telling us what types of exhibitions and topics you’d like to see exhibited at LDHS (ie. “exhibits regarding the Lacombe Hog”, “exhibits focusing on the changes in technology”, “exhibitions for children”, etc.).
Please note, there is no annual deadline for Heritage Exhibit Proposals. Our Exhibit Committee appreciates and reviews all suggestions received.
