In 2024 we wanted to bring back our lecture series, but this year we will be exploring heritage topics as “how-to” workshops. Our finalized schedule of workshops will be announced shortly but our first workshop of the year will focus on Archives and Personal Research! This workshop aims to answer questions like:
“What is an archive?”
“What information is kept in an archive?”
“How do I access information in both digital and physical archives?”
“What is in the Lacombe Museum’s archives?”
This workshop is perfect for anyone who does family research, amateur historians, or anyone curious about what mysteries an archive might contain!
If there is a heritage topic that you want to learn more about let us know! We may be able to include it later in the year.
