SUMMER DROP-IN PROGRAMS

Over the summer months, check the activities listed below to see when you can churn your own butter & learn to spin wool, or try your hand at traditional blacksmithing techniques in Alberta's oldest operating Blacksmith Shop!

SELF-GUIDED TOURS

Purchase your own self-guided walking tour book available at the Michener House Museum or at our gift-shop, located on the main floor of the Flatiron Building today for only $10.00! This self-guided booklet features pictures and information on the significant buildings and murals located in Lacombe's historic downtown. This book also makes a great gift and keepsake!​

During our Off Season, join us on Saturdays when we welcome all ages and abilities to participate in our programs.
Work with our skilled staff and volunteers to learn skills for homesteaders, old timey games & work on crafts and projects with your family! 

 

 
 
Share time with your family learning, creating and exploring new materials! The best part….your completed masterpieces are yours to take home and enjoy!
This is a wonderful opportunity for learning, creating and exploring new materials. 
This program runs every Saturday from 1-3pm  September - April.
