This Mothers Day Weekend, join us for an evening heritage fashion show brought to you by the Lacombe & District Historical Society and the Lacombe Performing Arts Centre.
Heritage Fashion Show:
Doors open at 6 pm for a cocktail and reception, with an exhibition from the Lacombe Museums Textile Collection on display throughout the Lacombe Performing Arts Centre Lobby.
The Fashion Show will start at 7 pm.
The event will be followed by a Meet & Greet with the designer and performers, with the opportunity to experience the costuming up close and personal.
Coffee and pastries will be served.
tickets are $45.00 each and are available online and at the Mary C. Moore Library.
Textile Designer Biography:
We are thrilled to be working with Textile Designer, Anna Lenters. Anna has spent her life telling stories through textiles. She worked 10 years in the Costume Department at Heritage Park in Calgary, and 4 years in Winnipeg with the Costume Museum of Canada and Parks Canada (Lower Fort Garry). She is currently the owner and operator of “Wren Original”, creating historical costumes for small historical sites that cannot produce costumes in-house (like us, Anna made our famous heritage photobooth costumes) and costumes for the Innisfail Town Theatre plays.
Anna Lenters puts the final touches on the King and Queen’s costumes in preparation for the Halloween Party at the Innisfail and District Historical Village

As this is a fundraising event to support both the Lacombe & District Historical Society & Lacombe Performing Arts Centre community efforts, tickets are non-refundable. Tickets are very limited and will sell out quickly, we recommend getting your tickets quickly to avoid disappointment! All tickets must be purchased in advance, there may not be tickets available for purchase at the door, so to avoid disappointment please purchase in advance.
Price is per person, and each child and adult attending will need a ticket. Please note that children must be accompanied by at least 1 adult in the group, no drop-offs will be permitted. Only ticket holders will be permitted.
